In this post I will show you preferred wordpress plugins that I usually use. Previously I wrote how to install plugins on wordpress. Now it’s time we choose what the plugin is. Actually there are very many plugins that we can choose. However, not all of these plugins are useful for us.
List of Preferred WordPress Plugins
WPS Hide Login
The first preferred wordpress plugin is WPS Hide Login. This plugin will help us to hide the original wordpress login address by changing the address to our liking. Hiding wordpress login is something we must do to support security. As we all know that WordPress is a widely used application. Many already know where to go if you want to log into the wordpress application. This can be utilized by irresponsible hackers to access the login page and do brute force in order to log into our wordpress.
Smush
The second plugin is Smush. This plugin will help us optimize the images that we upload to wordpress. Smush will automatically resize the images that we upload. The way it works is similar to when we send images via WA then automatically the image we send the size is adjusted to be optimal. Smush will help save our storage on hosting, especially for those who use wordpress.org.
Yoast SEO, Most Preferred WordPress Plugins
The third plugin that is very useful is Yoast SEO. SEO (Search Engine Optimizer) is very important if we want to be indexed on Google. Indexed on Google means that the posts that we will load can be searched through the search field on Google. Well, Google has rules so that the posts we make can be indexed. Yoast SEO will provide suggestions on the posts we make so that the posts can be indexed by Google. However, before Google can index, we must first register our wordpress to Google. How to register it maybe we will discuss on another occasion.
Those are the 3 preferred wordpress plugins that I always install the first time when I install wordpress. Actually there are still very many plugins that can be an option. On another occasion, if there is time I will write some other plugin reviews.
